Micro-Wedding Photography in Europe

Meeting in one of the most beautiful corners of the world. Shared pizzas. Raised glasses. A moment slipped away – just the two of you, somewhere in the landscape.

A dip in the pool between ceremony and dinner. The light changing over the table. The people who know you best, close enough to touch.

I photograph micro-weddings across Europe, most often in Switzerland and Italy.

Escapism x humanity

My work sits between documentary and editorial. Close enough to stay with what is real, considered enough to shape it into something worth returning to.

I read the day as it moves. Energy building, relationships surfacing, moments forming before anyone notices them.

Your photos will carry how it felt.

Most couples spend around €8000 on photography..

“Exceptional photographer. Eline captured our entire wedding weekend perfectly. Every single one of our guests is a fan. She was present everywhere, caught every moment -and yet nobody ever felt like they had to pose. The balance was perfect.” — Hannelore, Tuscany

A note on guest count

Elopements can welcome up to around 20 guests. Micro-weddings start from 5 guests. The difference is in the ceremony location and celebration.

Where I work most

SWITZERLAND

Alpine peaks, light on water. The quiet grandeur of the high Alps. Best for couples who want the mountain air and the feeling of being above it all, centered around private chalets and lakefront terraces.

ITALY

One country. Three distinct rhythms. A country that understands the rhythm of a celebration. My work here focuses on three distinct atmospheres: the grand villas of the Lakes, the jagged peaks of the Dolomites, and the rolling, sun-baked hills of Tuscany.

Elsewhere in Europe

Denmark

Little harbors. Long summer days. A landscape that opens up instead of towering over you. Denmark is one of the easiest countries in Europe for destination wedding legalities – and one of the quietest places to gather your people for a micro-wedding with a sense of hygge.

France

A castle in Burgundy. The wine fields near Bordeaux. A villa on the Côte d’Azur. France draws couples whose people are scattered across the world – Paris makes it easy for everyone to actually arrive. A country that knows how to hold a celebration, in landscapes that have been doing exactly that for centuries.

Iceland

Otherworldly landscapes that belong to no other place on earth. Cabins for the smallest gatherings, hotels for something larger. International couples can legally marry here without the complexity of other European destinations – and Iceland is one of the most LGBTQ+ friendly countries in the world. The wildness of the North, shared with your inner circle.

Spain

The white villages of Andalusia, like Frigiliana, where the architecture does the decorating and the streets narrow into something intimate. The playas around Sitges, where the sea sets the pace. And Mallorca, with its villas tucked into the hills, each one its own world. Spain has the warmth of Italy, the landscape wilder and drier, the evenings longer than you planned for.
