Grindelwald
Scale, light, and a good sense of lingering under the Eiger.
Elopement Photography
Wildflowers low in May, halfway in June, high by summer. The mountain moves on its weather – the farmers and cows move with it.
Whether you’re moving fast on the trail, diving into the ice cold Bachalpsee, or watching the light shift over the Mönch and the Eiger – the pace belongs entirely to you.

Years from now, a good photograph doesn’t just show you Grindelwald. You can still feel whether it was warm or cold, hear what the valley sounded like that day, sense what was in the air, and what it felt like to be there together.
“She is able to find the intersection of natural beauty and human love so effortlessly through her photography.” — Garrett, Grindelwald, 2025

My work is anchored in Patgific – a 300-year-old Romansh concept from Graubünden about slowing down enough to really enjoy what’s in front of you.
Raised in a painter’s studio and having spent my life in these mountains, I look for where the landscape builds its own architecture. The Eiger and other mountains around Grindelwald do this beautifully.
“Her work is for those who want their day held with clarity, where moments remain recognisable to themselves, even as they take on the quiet weight of memory.” — The Lane

Navigating the Valley
Grindelwald is one of the most photographed valleys in the Alps, and it earns it. It is also busy – especially June through September, and again through the winter – for most of the hours people are active. Getting to the quiet in Grindelwald takes knowing the valley.
There are three ways we find it:
01
Overnight
Most couples take the mountain overnight – a mountain hotel above the village, the alpenglow on the Eiger in the evening, the dark, and then the valley to yourselves at first light while the day-trippers are still far below. The crowds keep daytime hours; the quiet is at the edges, and staying is how you have it. It is where Grindelwald gives you the most of itself. €8000.
02
Private Land
Over the years I’ve come to work with a handful of landowners here, through Marlies, whose locations aren’t open to most couples passing through. When we work together, they’re open to you. It’s the surest quiet in the valley, because it isn’t shared. Four hours, including time on private land. From €4000.
03
Open Mountain
On public ground I can keep us clear of the worst of it – a few routes I’ve come to know out to a stretch of the valley. Quieter than the obvious places. Empty, sometimes; not always. I can’t promise the mountain to ourselves the way the overnight or the private land can.
A mix is possible too – a day without the overnight, combining private land and open mountain.

From time to time there’s room for a shorter proposal, couple, or family session – two to three hours, from €2000, booked within three months of the date.
Coffee in the morning mist, the glow going long by evening, and being so present you forget to document it (luckily, I did).
