There’s no standard version of an elopement, but real examples show you more than a description ever could: both what’s possible and what it actually costs.
One thing worth noting: getting around the Dolomites almost always requires a car rental, which most couples factor into their broader trip rather than their elopement budget. I leave it out of the breakdowns below for that reason.
A full day in the Dolomites — landed at €8220
They had two days in the region and wanted their elopement to feel like the centrepiece. We started before dawn with stargazing, then a private 4×4 out of Cortina for a multi-hour mountain tour, a long lunch at a green Michelin-starred mountain hut, and an afternoon at a high-altitude lake.Total included myfull day coverage and experience design, a €600 private 4×4 tour with driver, and a €120 Michelin-starred mountain lunch
An overnight across the Alps — landed at €9490
They were staying at a vineyard hotel and wanted their elopement to move through different worlds. A private rental of the boathouse at Lake Braies for their ceremony, then a secluded valley just beyond the Dolomites with a cable car up and lunch at a mountain hut. Stargazing at the hotel that evening. The next morning, their first as a married couple, a private 4×4 sunrise tour.Total included myovernight coverage across 24 hours and experience design plus €600 for private boathouse rental, Lake Braies, €90 for a mountain hut lunch, and a €300 sunrise 4×4 tour with guide
A full day with a helicopter landing — landed at €10155
They wanted the famous peaks without the crowds, so a helicopter was decided early. We started with a first look on the roof of their hotel, hair and makeup already done, flowers in hand. A gluten-free picnic prepared by the hotel brought up to a lake, then a helicopter flight with a long landing in a secluded area between the peaks. The day ended with stargazing.Total included myfull day coverage and experience design, €850 for hair and makeup, €225 for florals, a €80 gluten-free hotel picnic, and a €1500 helicopter ride with extended landing
Two nights in the Dolomites — landed at €11744
They wanted two sunrises and their ceremony in between. We hiked up to the Seceda ridge before first light, then out to a more secluded spot for their vows. Afterwards, down to a lake to read letters from loved ones at home, then up to the alm for the night. The next morning, sunrise in the meadows followed by a hike out to a mountain hut for brunch.Total included multi-day coverage and experience design,my€250 for flowers, a €400 hotel with dinner and breakfast, night one, a €530 hotel with dinner and breakfast, night two, and €64 for cable car tickets
The vendor costs listed are paid by you to them directly.
